What Should I Expect When I Visit?

Berachah Church is a non-denominational Christian church that is very relaxed, warm and friendly.

We describe ourselves as "blended" in our approach on many levels. Our blended approach applies to worship, where we blend traditional ideas with more contemporary styles. We take this same approach in that we are multi-generational and multi-cultural.

How do I dress?

Our dress is casual yet blended, some folks feel good about dressing up for church while others are more at home in a pair of jeans - to us it's all good. Come as you are and enjoy time in prayer, worship and study.

What time should I be there?

Sunday mornings at 9:30 am we gather for bible classes

We begin our main worship service at 10:30 am

The service is normally over by noon

On the third Sunday of each month we host a reception for fellowship after the service

When you visit us for the first time be sure to check-in at the Welcome Center. You'll see it as soon as you enter the church.

What does the service look like?

  • We enjoy a blend of contemporary songs & hymns for about the first 20-30 minutes of the service.

  • We dedicate a short time for casual  announcements.  We informally welcome our visitors (just wave) and we highlight upcoming activities. After you register with us, we will provide you with a small gift, some cookies and some information.

  • We take a moment to collect donations from our members. (Visitors are not expected to give unless you feel inspired to do so).

  • After the offering collection children in the auditorium are invited to leave and attend their own age appropriate activity. It will be announced.

  • Our pastor or an invited guest will teach from the Bible for the next 30-40 minutes

  • Following our preaching we sing a song, exit the service and meet & greet one another before departing.

  • On the first Sunday of each month we take some extra time after the preaching to share the Lord's Supper.

What Should I Expect Afterwards?

After the service feel free to introduce yourself to the pastor as you exit the church service.  He would love to meet you. Once a month, on the third Sunday, we have a reception with coffee and snacks.

If you would like to have someone take a little time to pray for you, just work yourself to the front of the church and we have volunteers who are standing by to pray for you.

You will receive a small gift once you've turned your red Welcome Card in to the Welcome Center. Later in the week, we will reach out to contact you to thank you for attending. We do hope you will enjoy the service and consider returning.

If you have any questions or wish to contact the church feel free to call or email the office or one of our leaders. You will find their email addresses in the back of the bulletin.
