 Christmas Service

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
~The Nursery will be available
during the Service.
Christmas Poinsettias
You can help beautify our Sanctuary at Christmas with your flower order. Forms
(see insert) and envelopes are available on the back table. The cost is $10 per
plant and will be yours to take home after Christmas.

Our next gathering will on Wednesday, December 17th and we’ll be having hot
sandwiches and we’ll share Christmas thoughts.

Adult Retreat

February 20 – 22, 2009, Spruce Lake Retreat Center. The speaker once again
this year will be Bob Emberger and the cost will be $190 per person. Come
join us for a great time of fellowship, bible study, volley ball and outdoor
winter activities. Please see Harry Symons for more information.

Wednesday’s are Prayer Days at Berachah

Once one has placed their
faith and trust in Jesus Christ saving work on the Cross, God has called each
of us to serve Him by serving others. This service is not a one and done or
yearly event, it is a continual process where we look for areas of need and
give of our time and resources. Serving is not only a responsibility, but it
is a method in which we learn more about the great God we serve. The question
to consider is not how busy you are but are you willing to give up your
desires to obey God’s call? If you are already serving on a continual basis,
praise the Lord, if you are not, the following are a few opportunities here at
Berachah.
“For by grace you have been saved through
faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of
works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ
Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in
them.”

Awana is in need of a
Cubbies Helper. We can still use Helpers for Boys & Girls. If you are
interested in these positions, please see Jo Ellen Hollinger.

Servant of God Needed!
Wednesday Morning Bible
Study is pleased that God has brought a number of women to hear His word. We
need another Babysitter to help care for all the children, Wednesday mornings
at 9:45 AM. Please see Jessica or Allison.
