ABOUT
THE SCRIPTURES
2
Timothy 3:16-17
All
Scripture is God-Breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking,
correcting, and training in righteousness so that the man of God may be
thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2
Peter 1:21
For
prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God
as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit

THE
PERSON OF JESUS CHRIST
Hebrews
1:8
But
about the Son he says, "Your throne, O God, will last for ever and
ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.
John
1:14
The
Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his
glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father full of
grace and truth.
Luke
1:35
The
angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of
the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will
be called the Son of God.
Matthew
1:21
"She
will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because
he will save his people from their sins."
1
Timothy 2:5
For
there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ
Jesus.

THE
WORK OF JESUS CHRIST
Colossians
1:20-22
and
through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or
things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the
cross. Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your
minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you
by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight
without blemish and free from accusation.
2
Corinthians 5:21
God
made whom who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become
the righteousness of God.
Hebrews
9:22
In
fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and
without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.

THE
RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST
1
Timothy 2:5
For
there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ
Jesus.
Romans
1:4
And
who, through the spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the
Son of God by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.
1
Corinthians 15:14-17
And
if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your
faith, more than that, we are then found to be false witness about God,
for we testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead.
But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised. For
if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised
either. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile,
you are still in your sins.
1
Timothy 2:5
But
to each one of us, grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.
This is why it says: "When he ascended on high he led captives in
his train and gave gifts to men."

THE
HOLY SPIRIT
1
Corinthians 12:13
For
we were all baptized by one spirit into one body - whether Jews or
Greeks, slaves or free - and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.
Ephesians
1:13
And
you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the
gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him
with seal, the promised Holy Spirit.
John
15:26
When
the counselor comes whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit
of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me.
John
16:8-11
When
he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin,
righteousness, and judgment: In regard to sin because men do not
believe in me; in regard to righteousness because I am going to the
father where you can see me no longer; and in regard to judgment because
the prince of this world now stands condemned.
2
Corinthians 3:18
And
we who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being
transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes
from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
1
Corinthians 2:10-12
But
God has revealed it to us by his spirit. The Spirit searches all
things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the
thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way,
no one knows the thoughts of God except the spirit of God. We have not
received the spirit of the world, but the spirit who is from God, that
we may freely understand what God has given us.
Romans
8:9
You
however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if
the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the
Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.
Acts
1:8
But
you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will
be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and all Judea, and Samaria, and to the
ends of the earth.

MAN
Genesis
1:26
Then
God said "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let
them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the
livestock, over all the earth, and over the creatures that move along
the ground.
Romans
5:12
Therefore
just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin,
and in this way, death came to all men because all sinned...
Romans
3:23
For
all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Psalm
51:5
Surely
I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
Romans
3:9
What
shall we conclude then? Are we any better? Not at all! We have
already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under sin.

SALVATION
John
3:5-7
I
tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of heaven unless he is
born of water and the spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but
spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my
saying "You must be born again." The wind blows wherever
it pleases. The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound
but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So
it is with everyone born of the spirit.
Galatians
2:16
Know
that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus
Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may
be justified by faith in Christ, and not by observing the law, because
by observing the law, no one will be justified.
Ephesians
2:1
As
for you, you were dead in your trespasses and sins...
Romans
3:24
And
are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by
Christ Jesus.
John
10:28-29
I
give them eternal life and they shall never perish, no one can snatch
them out of my hand. My father who has given them to me is greater
than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand.
Ephesians
2:8-9
For
it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this from of
yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works so that no one can
boast.

THE
CHURCH
Ephesians
1:22 - 23
And
God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be the head
over everything for the Church which is his body, the fullness of him
who fills everything in every way.
1
Corinthians 12:13
For
we are all baptized by one spirit into one body whether Jews or Greeks,
slaves or free, and we are all given the one spirit to drink.
Philippians
1:1
Paul
and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, to all the saints in Christ
Jesus at Philippi together with the Overseers and Deacons.
Matthew
28: 18 - 20
Then
Jesus came to them and said, "all authority in heaven and on earth
has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of
the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everyting I have commanded
you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Acts
2:41
Those
who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were
added to their number that day.
1
Corinthians 11:25 - 26
In
the same way, after supper he took the cup saying, "This cup is the
new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance
of me. For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim
the Lord's death until he comes.
Acts
8:36 - 38
As
they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch
said, "Look, here is water, why shouldn't I be baptized? And
he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the
eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him.

SATAN
1
Peter 5:8
Be
self controlled and alert, your enemy the devil prowls around like a
roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
Ephesians
2:2
in
which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of
the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in
those who are disobedient.
Revelation
20:10
Then
the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning
sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown.
They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

THE
FUTURE
2
Timothy 4:1
In
the presence of God and of Christ Jesus , who will judge the living and
the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this
charge:
1
Thessalonians 4:13 - 17
Brothers,
we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to
grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus
died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus
those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord's own
word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the
coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen
asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a
loud command, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call
of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who
are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the
clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the
Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words.
Daniel
9:25 - 27
Know
and understand this; From the issuing of the decree to restore and
rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler comes, there will be
seven "sevens," and sixty two "sevens." It
will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble.
After the sixty two "Sevens," the Anointed one will be cut off
and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will
destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a
flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been
decreed. He will confirm a covenant with many for one
"Seven." In the middle of the "seven" he will
put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple, he
will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is
decreed is poured out upon him.
Revelation
20:12 - 15
And
I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books
were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of
life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as
recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it,
and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each
person was judged according to what he had done. Then death and
Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the
second death. If anyone's name was not found written in the book
of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
Luke
16:24 - 25
So
he called to him, "Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus
to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue because I
am in agony in this fire." But Abraham replied; "Son,
remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while
Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in
agony.
